Completed in 1995, this extraordinary home was brought to life through the collaboration of Sanderson Sims, Taliesin Associated Architects, John Rattenbury, and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Originally designed for the Cornwell Family in Pennsylvania back in 1954, this passive solar hemicycle spans 3,700 square feet, seamlessly integrating FLW’s principles of organic architecture that harmonize with the surrounding landscape.

Featuring towering glass doors with expansive windows, the home presents floor-to-ceiling views enveloping the entire space. The second level gracefully appears to float above the main living area, suspended by hidden steel beams around the structure. Marvel at the rounded walls made from coral aggregate block sourced from Oahu, FLW’s signature Cherokee-red concrete floors, and the thoughtful design that enhances indoor/outdoor living while shielding against trade winds.

Furnished with licensed reproductions of original FLW-designed furniture, including Barrel chairs and 1949 Origami chairs, the home reflects his timeless style.
